Almonds are a powerhouse food.   Don’t underestimate the benefits of these nutrient packed nuts.

An Almond a day . . .

Breakfast:

  • Add almond butter to your smoothie
  • Add sliced almonds to your oatmealTrail mix

Snacks:

  • Pack a 1 ounce tin full of almonds
  • Spread Almond butter on an Apple, Celery or Cracker
  • Trail mix – add almonds

Lunch:

  • Toss sliced almonds on any salad
  • Almond hummus & carrot sticks
  • Almond butter and banana sandwich

Supper:

  • Toss sliced almonds into pasta dish

Dessert:

  • Anywhere a walnut can go an almond can go.  Substitute any nut with the Almond
