ServSafe Food Protection Manager's Course

The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is nationally recognized and accredited.  It provides the highest standard of food safety training & certification.   The ServSafe program continues to evolve to meet the most urgent food safety challenges in our industry.  

Key information that you will receive include

"The Safe Food Handler"   Are your employees coming to work in dirty uniforms, wearing their uniforms/aprons on breaks, do they know the correct way to wash their hands or when to wear/changes gloves?   

"Sanitation & Cleaning"   Does every employee know when & how to clean - rinse - sanitize?   Do they know how & when to use test strips?  When is it appropriate to use hand sanitizers?

ServSafe Alcohol      

ONLINE COURSE: In four to five hours, or less, learners will receive critical knowledge on alcohol law and responsibilities, recognizing and preventing intoxication, checking identification and dealing with difficult situations. The course is self-paced and navigation is intuitive, allowing users to easily review key concepts. The course integrates audio and video, role-play activities, interactive exercises and includes a post test to help prepare students for the certification examination. A bookmark feature allows users to easily return to where they left off. 

CLASSROOM COURSE: This training begins with the Fundamentals of Responsible Alcohol Service textbook. This comprehensive reference delivers practical information all front-of-the-house employees need to know to serve alcohol responsibly.  Vital lessons are reinforced with guides, charts, exercises and case studies to make concepts much more memorable. The text also includes areas where students can fill in their state and local laws as well as individual company policies. To help your staff understand and remember important lessons, the program also offers role-play videos/DVDs designed to work in conjunction with the book to challenge students to evaluate the real-world scenarios they may face back in the operation.

ServSafe Alcohol Examination
 

Option 1: The Advanced Exam has more rigorous standards.
The ServSafe Alcohol Advanced Examination is a secured examination, meaning it has more rigorous standards of examination administration and development. Passing confirms that students have mastered the critical knowledge needed to be capable of providing responsible alcohol service.

Option 2: The Primary Exam covers all of the basics.
The ServSafe Alcohol Primary Examination is a non-secured exam that tests for basic responsible alcohol service knowledge. Passing confirms that students have studied and are knowledgeable about how to serve alcohol responsibly.

Purchases of online training courses are final. Before purchasing, review technical requirements. Once you begin the course, you will have 90 days to complete it, at which time the course will be deactivated.

 

ServSafe Employee Training

Who should Attend: Waitstaff, bus staff, hostesses, bartenders, dishwashers, prep staff, anyone who comes into contact with food in any form and at any point in the establishment.
